Goose Ablutions

There! All done!

From the new Metro Zoo tundra exhibit, which has a snow goose pond, and some juvenile snow geese. This one was abluting quite vigorously when I got to that part of the exhibit, and I'm pleased I was able to get a useful sequence of shots.

I was expecting the first one to be the notable one, but you're the second person who has preferred the third.

People are strange. :)

i wouldn't say "preferred", but they're completely different, and i was in an aesthetically appreciative mood.

i do like the catch-of-the-moment of the first.

i also like the pattern in the last. :)

I was quite pleased with the way that pond behaved, and I hope it stays that nicely semi-reflective.

And I am certainly not poorly disposed towards aesthetic appreciation of any of my photographs! It's just that sometimes I don't entirely understand it.
