Former flowers

In the St. James Cathedral garden, a flower obviously entirely done with blooming:
And the full-scale version of the centre bottom of the image, complete with complimentary spider:
I was not expecting the spider.

150mm, F4.5, DA 55-300. Can't much complain about the sharpness, here.

i love it when i get complimentary animals i wasn't expecting in my macro shots (which happens quite a lot). i love macro in general because i see so much more in it than i see otherwise.

Yes!
That's one of the things I really like about it.
And it's not just animals; there's a lot of seeing-the-flowering going on, things I don't (possibly couldn't) notice just looking at the thing.
